For his first gallery exhibition since the publication of his game changing 2017 book, The California Field Atlas, Obi Kaufmann will partner with Carter & Co to present a collection of several dozen of his unframed watercolor paintings. Thematically ranging from wildlife renderings to large-scale maps of California ecology, Obi’s rich calligraphic style shines with data-driven accuracy and vibrant color to reveal a bold vision of the natural world.
